Thomas Ricks, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained sports medicine/non-operative orthopedics physician. Dr. Ricks specializes in the evaluation and non-operative management of a wide variety of orthopedic issues including sports/exercise injuries, chronic overuse injuries, and degenerative joint disease. He treats patients of all ages from little leaguers to high school/college athletes to weekend warriors to active seniors and all those in between. He specializes in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures including platelet-rich plasma (PRP), prolotherapy, corticosteroid injection, viscosupplementation injection, tenotomy, barbotage, and trigger-finger release.
