Dr Mendizabal has been practicing General and Family Medicine in Citrus County for 42 years. He is associated with Nature Coast Primary Care in Crystal River. He attended the U.M.S.S. Faculty of Medicine in Cochabamba, Bolivia from 1963 through 1970, moved to the U.S in 1971 and started with his post graduate training on the same year. Dr Mendizabal believes in the traditional, science based clinical medical approach to patient care and is particularly interested in the medical care of the elderly.
