Older adults often need specialized care when they are in the hospital. That's exactly what they'll get as a patient of Jefferson Health. Our Acute Care for Elders (ACE) Unit in our Stratford hospital is designed to meet the unique needs of hospitalized older adults (aged 65 and older) by helping them maintain their independence and prevent physical and mental decline while they receive treatment for an acute illness. At the same time, it offers support and complete access and updates for their loved ones.
