Dr. Krommes graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rider University, and from Temple University School of Medicine where she received the Thomas M. Durant Award in Internal Medicine as the member of her class who “best exemplified the ideal physician: one who has a thorough knowledge of the biologic disease, but also a sensitive awareness of the patient as a person influenced by the social and psychological factors that attend illness.” She completed her Rheumatology Fellowship at Temple, and continued as a faculty member, serving as the Fellowship Director and Associate section Chief of Rheumatology.
