Denise McGovern is a nurse practitioner who is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is well-versed with managing patients with chronic and acute conditions. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she was a registered nurse in the emergency department. After years of managing acute illnesses as a RN, her main focus as a nurse practitioner is promoting healthy lifestyles. She is dedicated to building strong, lasting relationships with her patients and is focused on preventative care. In addition to being a nurse practitioner, she is an adjunct nursing instructor at SUNY Orange.
