As a Palliative Care specialist, I care for people of all ages with serious illness. My commitment is to use every available treatment option to ease the many dimensions of suffering that come with serious illness. My interdisciplinary team and I help achieve the best possible quality of life for patient and family by embracing two primary goals: to optimally manage patient-family pain and other bodily, emotional and spiritual symptoms of illness; and to help make sure the treatment plan lines up with their unique preferences, values, goals, and character.
