Dr. Sanjay Patel is an Associate Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and Director of the Fellowship Program, within the Division of Hematopathology. He joined Weill Cornell/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital after completing clinical and research training in hematopathology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. His research interests span the field of hematopathology, notably focusing on the areas of hematopoiesis, NPM1-mutated acute myeloid leukemia and pre-leukemic states, and classic Hodgkin lymphoma.
