Sharon Hochweiss, MD

About

Dr. Hochweiss’ passion for medicine started early when she attended The Bronx High School of Science. She received her medical degree from New York Medical College and conducted her internal medicine internship and residency at Lenox Hill Hospital. Following her residency, Dr. Hochweiss began her hematology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital and combined her love of travel and medicine by continuing the program at Hammersmith Hospital in London, England. She also completed a fellowship in oncology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Hochweiss is boarded in both internal medicine and hematology. Currently, Dr. Hochweiss is a preceptor at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and teaches at Lenox Hill Hospital.
