Dr. Nair is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine for pulmonary disease, critical care and internal medicine. She was awarded her medical degree by the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her residency in the Department of Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. She also completed a fellowship in the Division of Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where she was also appointed chief fellow. Most recently, Dr. Nair was a staff physician at Pulmonary and Critical Care Associates in East Brunswick, NJ, affiliated with St. Peters University Hospital and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
