As one of Vienna & Tysons Corner, Virginia’s leading cosmetic dentists and dental surgeons, Foad Farhoumand, DDS can treat the most complex of dental issues. His team at Farhoumand Dentistry welcomes new patients and their families to the practice.

After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, Dr. Farhoumand went directly into dental school. He earned his doctor of dental surgery degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C.

To gain further expertise and experience, Dr. Farhoumand then trained at the Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry at New York University, focusing on advanced cosmetic dentistry procedures. He completed additional training in dental implant surgery, CEREC® one-day crowns, and the Invisalign® teeth straightening system.

Dr. Farhoumand, or Dr. Foad as his patients call him, is known for his passion for dentistry and commitment to care. He listens to each patient’s needs and evaluates their health to design a targeted, individualized treatment plan. Dr. Farhoumand strives to help each patient feel relaxed and comfortable during their visits, even while going through complex dental procedures.

Having spent much of his childhood growing up in Ethiopia, Dr. Farhoumand became fluent in multiple languages. He speaks English, Spanish, Italian, French, and Farsi. That allows him to communicate with patients of diverse backgrounds.

When Dr. Farhoumand isn’t busy in the office, he spends time with his wife and two children. They enjoy flying radio-controlled airplanes and helicopters as well as riding motorcycles.
